ExactCare Sponsors Upcoming World Kidney Day Event

ExactCare is once again teaming up with the Kidney Foundation of Ohio (KFO) to sponsor World Kidney Day and a supporting community event in Cleveland.

KFO is recognizing World Kidney Day—observed annually on the second Thursday of March—on Saturday, March 25 by hosting an educational community resource fair to help people living with kidney disease. This includes a focus on how nutrition can impact the management of kidney disease.

As part of this event, ExactCare representatives will be attending to speak with patients about medication management support and how it can simplify an already overwhelming daily routine.

The event is free and open to the public and will feature lunch, interactive activities, vendors, raffles, and giveaways. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dave’s Market & Eatery, 1929 East 61st Street, Cleveland, OH. Registration is encouraged, but not required. To register, click here.

World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness about the important role kidneys plan in a person’s overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.

ExactCare has partnered with KFO for more than a decade to provide support for people living with kidney disease, including through programs that improve access to medications. Additionally, ExactCare works nationally with dialysis providers to improve medication management for people with end-stage renal disease.
